Similarly, students preparing for the CDS exam must have the same thought that Which post do we get after clearing CDS exam?
Today I will tell you this idea in simple and easy words that what posts and positions you get after passing the CDS exam.
जैसा कि हम जानते हैं कि सीडीएस परीक्षा यूपीएससी द्वारा हर साल दो बार आयोजित की जाती है। एक फरवरी में और दूसरा नवंबर में। चूंकि UPSC भारत में सबसे बड़ा आयोग है, इसका मतलब है कि UPSC को क्रैक करना बहुत आसान नहीं है और न ही कठिन।
CDS में ऐसी धाराएँ हैं जहाँ आप जाना चाहते हैं: –
- भारतीय सैन्य अकादमी (Indian Military Academy)
- वायु सेना अकादमी (Air Force Academy)
- भारतीय नौसेना अकादमी (Indian Naval Academy)
- अधिकारी प्रशिक्षण अकादमी (Officers Training Academy)
लिखित परीक्षा पास करने के बाद आपको 5 दिनों का एसएसबी क्लियर करना होगा और मेडिकल परीक्षा पास करने के बाद अगर आपका नाम अंतिम मेरिट लिस्ट में है तो ..आप की सिफारिश की गई है।
आपके प्रशिक्षण के बाद आपको लेफ्टिनेंट के रूप में नियुक्त किया जाएगा, फिर 2 साल बाद आपको कप्तान के रूप में नियुक्त किया जाएगा।

UPSC CDS Exam पास करने के बाद सेना, नौसेना या वायु सेना में भर्ती होने वाले उम्मीदवारों को पहले कैडेट प्रशिक्षण से गुजरना पड़ता है।
प्रशिक्षण अवधि के दौरान, सेना के अधिकारी और नौसेना और वायु सेना में समकक्ष पद के अधिकारी 56,100 रुपये प्रति माह का Fixed Stipend मिलते हैं, जो कि Level 10 में शुरुआती वेतन है।

Military Service Pay (MSP)
सेना में लेफ्टिनेंट, कैप्टन, मेजर, लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल, कर्नल या ब्रिगेडियर या वायु सेना और नौसेना में समकक्ष पदों पर भर्ती होने वाले कैडेटों को सैन्य सेवा वेतन (MSP) की पेशकश की जाती है।
UPSC CDS Allowances & Perks
एक अच्छे वेतन पैकेज के अलावा, अधिकारी को कुछ allowances जैसे Flying Allowance, Dearness Allowance, High Altitude allowance, Uniform Allowance आदि प्राप्त होते हैं।

| Dearness Allowance | Same rates as applicable to civilian personnel |
| Kit Maintenance Allowance | Rs 20,000 annually |
| Highly Active Field Area Allowance | Rs 16,900 Monthly |
| Field Area Allowance | Rs 10,500 Monthly |
| Modified Field Area Allowance | Rs 6,300 Monthly |
| High Altitude Allowance | Category-I – Rs 3,400 Monthly
Category-II – Rs 5,300 Monthly Category-III – Rs 25,000 Monthly |
| Siachen Allowance | Rs. 42,500 Monthly |
| Uniform allowance | Rs. 20,000 Monthly |
| Free Ration | Officer in Peace & Filed Areas get Free ration. |
| Transport Allowance (TPTA) | Higher TPTA Cities: Rs 7200 + DA pm
Other Places: Rs 3600 +DA pm |
| Children Education Allowance (CEA) | Rs. 2250 pm per child for only eldest two surviving
CEA is applicable from kids’ Nursery to 12th class |
