RPSC Pre Exam Pattern pdf Download 2021
- In the RPSC RAS exam, the RAS Preliminary Exam is the first stage of selection in which questions are asked from only two subjects General Knowledge and General Science.
- To say, General Knowledge and General Science are two subjects, but many subjects are included under them, so only after studying these two subjects very deeply, you will be able to overcome this preliminary examination.
- Multiple choice questions are asked in the preliminary exam of RAS. The total number of questions is 150.
- The question paper will be in both Hindi and English language.
- A total of 200 marks are allotted for 150 questions.
- The full time of 03 hours is given for the RAS Pre Exam.
- The questions that will be asked in the exam will be of graduation level.
- Questions will be asked from General Knowledge and General Science subject.
- Along with this, there is also a negative marking in this exam. If you get three questions wrong, then one question will be deducted i.e. 1/3rd negative mark has been provided.

- The cutoff is made on the basis of RAS prelims exam. The candidates who secure the marks till the cut off are shortlisted to appear in the Mains exam.
- The number of candidates qualifying for RAS Mains Exam is almost 15 times the total number of vacancies.
- There are 04 papers in RAS Mains Exam. All the question papers are descriptive/analytical in nature.
- There are no multiple-choice questions in RAS main exam. The main exam consists of detailed answer type questions in which you have to write the answers in the form of written test.
- The time allotted for each question paper is 3 hours, each question paper carries 200 marks.
- Candidates who pass the main examination are called for interview for which 100 marks are fixed.
- In this way the total marks of 4 question papers were 800 and for the interview, 100 marks combined with 900 marks, in the end merit is made on the basis of these marks and the final selection list is drawn.
