Welcome Speech on Teachers Day

Here we are providing a Welcome Speech on Teachers Day. This is the occasion to respect the teachers and who can understand the importance of words more than a teacher. If a ceremony is started in a grand way then it has a different effect and the program ends well.

Speech 1…

Respected Principal, Vice-Principal, Teachers, and my dear classmates, all of you are welcome.

On this Teacher’s Day, I Shalu Singh as a senior student have come in front of all of you to deliver a welcome address for my dear teachers.

On this wonderful occasion of today, we all warmly welcome our teachers, where today all of us students will present entertaining dance and colorful programs in front of you.

Teacher’s Day is one of the most important days of student life. This day is celebrated on 5th September, which is the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was himself a very distinguished teacher and the second President of India.

Apart from being a noble person, he was also a very good teacher, that is why his birthday is celebrated as the day of the entire teacher society. Our teachers treat us very well, for which they do not want to get anything from us. He treats us like his own children and treats us as his own with a true heart.

As a student, we always look to them for help. Our teachers are our role models and that is why we are indebted to them. He inspires us to achieve success in this world and is always ready to guide us, he is the person who understands our problems without informing us.

I still remember when I was in 7th standard and I could not understand a Hindi poem. The whole class understood this easily and everyone was repeating it as told by our Hindi teacher, but without informing them, they came to know that I did not understand the poem.

After the bell rang, when all the children of the class had left, he asked me to sit for a while, and even though it was time for lunch, he explained the whole poem to me. So we can understand how great teachers are and how much they sacrifice for our bright future.

We all understand this thing that during parent-teacher meetings he never complains about our mischief done in class. Instead, they are more concerned about our studies. He never scolds us in front of our parents and always makes sure that we are not scolded by our parents.

Now I would like to invite my respected class teacher and Principal to come on this stage and kindly light the lamp on this auspicious occasion, after which the dance program can be started.

Thank you so much

Welcome Speech on Teachers Day in English

Respected Principal, Vice Principal, Teachers, and my dear friends!

Today we all have gathered here to celebrate this joyous occasion of Teacher’s Day. Today is 5th September and this is the day when we celebrate this occasion of Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm.

Today I would like to thank my class teacher for giving me an opportunity to speak in front of you all on this auspicious occasion.

This day is celebrated not only in India but all over the world in honor of teachers. On this day we do a variety of activities such as dancing, thanksgiving speeches, and prayers, etc. Similarly, on this day all of us students have made some special preparations for our teachers.

Teacher’s Day is celebrated in memory of Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan, who was not only a great teacher but also the President of India from 1962 to 1967. He understood the importance of education as a teacher and explained the importance of education to the people.

Students are considered as the pillar of the future of the country and your teacher is the person who builds this pillar. You mold our lives in the best way with your dedication and hard work. By celebrating this day, we want to tell you that we are grateful to you for everything you have done for us.

Today I would like to talk to all of you about one such incident, from which I came to know how important teachers really are. It was in those days when I used to study in Kinder Garden and when I wrote my first essay my teacher gave me a star.

For me, it was not just a star but an inspiration to do well in life and today I am standing in front of you all as a senior student of my school. It was my teacher who boosted my confidence and this is the role of a teacher in a student’s life.

Simply put, teachers have a magic wand, which makes our life easy and successful. It has been rightly said that “Teachers are like a candle, which, burning itself, ignites our mind, thereby removing the darkness of ignorance from our mind. He molds us into good human beings and gives us the quality of knowledge.

He shares this knowledge with the hope that his student will achieve success in his life and make good careers. That’s why we all are indebted to our teachers for every success in our life, who always guide and entertain us so that we can do our studies in an even better way.

In return of all this, our teachers never ask for anything from us, they only hope from us that one day we will become successful in life. So as a student it is our duty to work harder. So that our teachers can be more proud of us.

To work hard in studies is not only our job but it is our duty, along with this we also need to teach the moral values taught by our teachers to the coming generations. In which the most important thing is to respect and respect your teachers.

Therefore, I would like to request all of you that you all follow this advice of mine and become ideal students of your teachers so that a smile can be put on their faces.

Now I would like to invite my respected class teacher and Principal to come on this stage and kindly light the lamp on this auspicious occasion, after which the dance program can be started.

Thank you so much

The teacher is the builder of our life, he is the other person who always wants our best after our parents. We all try to imitate our teachers at some point or the other, as he is our role model and helps us in building our personality.

Now, in the end, I would like to thank all my teachers for their hard work. All of you are our guides, who never let us fall and lose our way and make us realize that success is waiting for us after every failure, so we should never give up.

We all express our sincere gratitude to you for giving us faith in ourselves and showing us the right path.
