English Grammar की पहली सीढ़ी Noun है, तो आज हम जानेंगे What is noun in Hindi में। इसे समझना बहुत जरुरी है, लेकिन Noun सिखने के लिए आपको परेशान होने की जरुरत नहीं है – मैं आपको सरल भाषा में बताऊँगा जिससे आप आसानी से सीख सकते हैं।
Noun
A Noun is a word used at the name of a person, place, or thing. अर्थात् किसी वस्तु, व्यक्ति या स्थान के नाम को संज्ञा कहते हैं,
जैसे-Kali, Nirmal, Krishna, Konartand, Baliapur, Book, Pen, etc.
Noun के मुख्यत: तीन प्रकार होते हैं
(1) Proper Noun
(2) Countable Noun
(3) Uncountable Noun.
PROPER NOUN (व्यक्तिवाचक संज्ञा)
A Proper Noun is a name given to some particular person, place animal, or things. अर्थात् जिस Noun से एक ही प्राणी या पदार्थ का नाम ज्ञात होता हो उसे Proper Noun कहते हैं।
जैसे – Balram, Bidya, Geeta, Dhanbad, Ranchi, etc.
This is Bidya.
That is Balram.
She is Geeta.
I live in Punjab.
इन वाक्यों में Bidya, Balram, Geeta, Punjab , Proper Noun है।
COUNTABLE NOUN (गणनीय वाचक संज्ञा)
Countable Nouns are those Nouns which are countable in number. अर्थात् वैसे Noun जिन्हें गिना जा सके उसे Countable Noun कहते हैं, जैसे
A book, Four shirts, Ten Boys, etc.
I have a book .
These are four shirts.
These are ten Boys.
You have a hundred pens.
UNCOUNTABLE NOUN (अगणनीय वाचक संज्ञा)
Uncountable Nouns are those Nouns which are uncountable in number. अर्थात् वैसे Noun जिन्हें Count (गिना) नहीं किया जा सके उसे Uncountable Nouns कहते हैं। जैसे – milk, water, ink, hope, childhood, etc.
We drink milk. They drink water.
Note:- पुराने Grammar में Noun पाँच भेद बताये गये हैं।
ये हैं –
(1) Proper Noun – इससे एकी ही प्राणी या पदार्थ का नाम सूचित होता है। जैसे-Bulbul, Nisha, Bunty, Dhanbad, Jharkhand etc.
(2) Common Noun – इससे सभी प्राणियों या वस्तुओं का बोध होता है। जैसे-Pen, Book, Boy, Girl, town, country etc.
(3) Material Noun – इससे नाप-तौल वाली वस्तुओं का पता चलता है। जैसे-Water, tea, rice, milk, gold etc.
(4) Collective Noun – इससे व्यक्तियों के झुण्ड भर समूह का पता चलता है। जैसे-Class, Army
(5) Abstract Noun – इससे केवल अनुभव द्वारा समझे जा सकते हैं छूकर या देखकर नहीं। जैसे-Hope, childhood, death, life, etc.
